The Children’s Club provides an exciting learning environment outside of school, to help nurture your child’s learning.
Committed to children’s education
With over 30 years of teaching experience, we provide excellent teaching, support and advice for you and your children regarding all aspects of their education. We have fostered an exciting environment in which children can learn and succeed in a range of subjects.
If your child or children are coming into education, changing school, or having difficulties, we can provide consultation and support. Our advice workshops for parents allow you to discuss problems and see what other parents have done.
The club staff
The Club Manager is a senior teacher, and she assesses every child’s level and draws up an individual study plan for each and every child.
Weekly diaries are discussed and agreed with other support staff each month or when a change in routine and focus is needed.
The Club Manager is solely responsible for the recruitment of staff. There are four levels of adult engagement:
- Volunteers
- Apprentices
- Self-employed subject tutors
- Permanent staff members (PT and FT)
All of our subject tutors qualified in England and they have QTS status. All the staff have an Enhanced DBS, including volunteers and apprentices.
